Wakisa Ministries was born out of Mrs. Vivian Kityo’s vision and passion for young women with unwanted pregnancies and has grown to embrace a number of such girls who are traumatized, confused and rejected owing to their condition from all regions in Uganda. Wakisa Ministries was formed in August 2005 by the Mighty Hand of God when He blessed and established the work of our hands.
From a humble beginning, the ministry grew into a full fledged one within a period of 5 months! The Aim is to bring the youth to CHRIST by offering unconditional love and message of the Cross.
Wakisa Ministries’ Vision is
To promote the holistic well-being of young people through training, caring and living the gospel way of life to realise their God given potential.
Wakisa Ministries’ Mission is
