Your gift provides safe, nurturing shelter at the Wakisa Center, nutritious meals for pregnant girls and new mothers, and professional counseling to help them heal from trauma. It also covers essential medical check-ups, antenatal and delivery support, baby essentials like clothing, diapers, and formula, as well as vocational skills training that empowers each young woman to build a self-reliant future.
By volunteering with Wakisa Ministries, you become part of a caring community that offers hope and practical support to young mothers in crisis. Whether you’re mentoring a girl one-on-one, teaching literacy and numeracy, leading vocational training , your skills can make a lasting difference. You might also help with fundraising, communications, or administration, or contribute remotely through mentoring, graphic design, or social media outreach.

Donations of baby clothes, diapers, formula, maternity wear, sanitary pads, toiletries, bedding, or dry foods help meet urgent needs and sustain mothers and their babies. Drop off items at our Wakisa Center in Buyera, Wakiso, or arrange a pickup for larger contributions.
