Vivian, founder of Wakisa Ministries, shares a powerful story of how a personal experience sparked her mission to support young girls rejected by their families and communities due to unwanted pregnancies. After nursing a young girl who had undergone an abortion, only to discover it was her own daughter, Vivian felt called to make a difference.

Wakisa Ministries was established to provide love, support, and vocational skills to these young mothers, helping them care for their babies and regain their dignity. Over the past 17-18 years, the ministry has empowered over 2,000 young mothers.

But Vivian's message goes beyond just supporting young mothers. She emphasizes the need for respect towards young girls, urging men and boys in Uganda to view them as more than sex objects. In a powerful plea, a group of men and boys from Uganda join the call, advocating for their human rights and encouraging girls to stand up for their own respect and self-respect.

Together, they remind us that every individual deserves respect and dignity, regardless of their circumstances. Wakisa Ministries is a shining example of the impact that can be made when we come together to support and empower one another.
