We exist to protect, restore dignity, empower, and equip these young women with the tools they need to regain control of their lives, continue their education, and reintegrate into society with dignity and confidence.

A pregnancy Crisis Center focused on love faith and hope in the heart of Uganda

To expand our life-saving support, Wakisa Ministries urgently needs your support to expand shelter capacity 50 girls by providing more beds, skilled staff, and vocational training tools. We also seek funding to complete a secure perimeter wall and a dedicated administration block for safe, effective operations. A larger, more durable van is essential to ensure regular follow-ups, safe resettlements, and therapeutic outings for the young mothers we serve.

My heart swells with joy and gratitude as we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year. It feels just like yesterday when Mrs. Vivian Kityo envisioned a place of safety, hope, and empowerment for Uganda’s pregnant teenagers.

Impact Quote

I learnt various skills from Wakisa Ministries such as paper beads, candle making, cookery and above all the staff, counsellors and volunteers taught me about God in bible study which challenged my heart.
